Account Deletion Policy

In brief

Email contact@bidshakti.com from your registered email address with the subject "Delete my account".
We verify the request and remove your account and data from live systems within 30 days, then confirm by email.
Encrypted backup copies are overwritten within 90 days.
Invoices and tax records are kept for the period the law requires.
In the mobile app you can delete your account directly from Settings, or open this page from the Account deletion link there.

1. Requesting deletion by email

1.1Write to contact@bidshakti.com from the email address registered on your account, with the subject "Delete my account" and your workspace name.
1.2We may ask you to confirm the request, so that nobody else can delete your account. For a company workspace, the request should come from the account owner or another person authorised to act for the company.
1.3We remove the account and its data from our live systems within 30 days of the confirmed request and confirm by email when it is done.

2.1In the BidShakti app, open Settings and tap "Delete my account", then confirm. Your app sign-in is disabled at once, your sessions and registered devices are removed, push notifications stop, and your in-app notification history is deleted.
2.2Settings also has an Account deletion link that opens this page, and you can sign out at any time, which ends the session on your device without deleting anything.
2.3The app signs you in to your company's workspace. Deleting your account in the app removes your access. To erase the whole workspace and its data, use the email request in Section 1, which must come from the account owner or another authorised person.

3.1Your user account, sign-in sessions and registered devices.
3.2Your company profile, targeting settings and alerts.
3.3Documents in your vault, including certificates, financial records, letterhead, seal and signature images.
3.4Analyses, Go/No-Go verdicts, bid packs, notes and other records in your workspace.
3.5Copies in encrypted backups are overwritten within 90 days of the deletion and are never restored or used in the meantime.

4.1Invoices, payment and refund records and other tax records, kept for 8 years as the Companies Act, 2013 and GST law require, and then deleted.
4.2A short record that a deletion was requested and completed, kept to show that we acted on your request.
4.3Anything we must keep because of a legal obligation, a lawful order or an open dispute, only for as long as that requires.

5.1Deletion cannot be undone. If you want a copy of your data, ask for an export in the same email and we will send it before deleting.
5.2If you hold an active paid plan, deletion ends the subscription and no further charge is taken. Refunds follow the Refund Policy.
